Features

• HODT MULTI FILM is an aqueous emulsion with mild odor, low VOC content and very low toxicity.
  It is a non-hazardous and environmentally friendly alternative to solventborne topcoats and corrosion inhibitors at a dry film thickness (dft) > 100 μm.
  1-component product with excellent adhesion and elasticity, rapid oxidative drying, water resistance and recoatability.
  Suitable substrates: organic coatings, grease-free iron, galvanized steel, aluminum, cement plaster, plastic plaster, concrete, plastic, emulsion paint coatings, etc.
  Economical to use and uncomplicated to apply. In one operation, a layer thickness of
  50 to 80 μm can be applied (by spraying and dipping).
  Can be diluted with water as desired, which results in a much greater reduction in viscosity
  than in the case of synthetic resins with organic solvents; the product meets the highest requirements in terms of chemical

Mode of operation:

• The substrate for HODT MULTI FILM must be free of grease!
• When applying HODT MULTI FILM by brush, roller, dipping or spraying, always apply "dry on dry" (after approx. 2 hours) to obtain a film thickness of approx. 120 - 160 μm.
• For spraying, HODT MULTI FILM can be diluted with water if necessary.
• However, after dilution, more coats must be applied to create the desired optimum film thickness.
• This drying time depends on the temperature. Forced drying at a temperature of 50 - 60 °C can reduce the drying time to 2 -3 hours.
• On the other hand, at a normal temperature of approx. 20°C, a drying time of 24 hours must be expected before further coats of HODT MULTI FILM or other paints can be applied to the multifilm coating.
