Use
- For installation of steering head bearings on motorcycles
Advantage
- The special shape of the impact ring allows for the power to be transmitted only to the internal ring during pressing or hammering of the tapered roller bearing.
- This means that the bearing cage will not be destroyed.
- The combination of impact ring and impact sleeve required for the installation of the ball bearing can be found in the table inside the case cover.
- The axes, bearing casings and gaskets of the bearing will not be damaged.
- The impact rings have a rubber ring and ensure locking at the strike pipes.
- With the combination of the impact ring and the impact pipe, the installation forces are never directed through the rolling elements of the bearing.

How it works
- Select impact ring according to the size of the ball bearings and strike the component with a dead-blow hammer.
Safety information
- Ensure motorcycle is securely positioned.
- Do not remove any brake lines, only brackets.
- Brake lines must be safeguarded against twisting and loading, for example, by sagging brake callipers.
- When loosening the central nut, secure the lower triple clamp to prevent its falling down.
- Observe the manufacturer´s torque specifications.
- Before test driving, it is imperative to engage the front brake several times in order to restore the pressure working point.
