Brantho-Korrux "nitrofest" 400 ml rust prevention spray
Brantho-Korrux “nitrofest” is a heavy duty, flat, 1-component coating showing excellent corrosion resistance and fast drying properties. Particularly suitable as a primer, also on manually prepared, rusty substrates. A two-coat system is weather-, seawaterand oil resistant.
Easy application very, good adhesion properties, can even be over-coated with nitro-cellulose and most 2-component coatings. Excellent coverage due to high solid contents. Environmental friendly, neither contains heavy metals nor aromatic hydrocarbon solvents.
Features:
- Rapid drying, touch-dry after just 10 minutes, therefore good edge coverage, low risk of soiling
- Universal recoatability no nitro paint but can even be recoated with nitro and 2-component paints
- Long service life proven in practice over many years: e.g. on machines, structures, pipes, railings, grilles, gates, roofs, containers, vehicles, etc.
- High environmental compatibility without hazard symbol according to Ordiance on Hazardous Substances: for humans and the environment, low exposure during processing
- Enormous filling and covering power forms a highly filled base coat that can be universally painted over.
- 18 different colors are immediately available from stock, others from 25 ltr. minimum production quantity
- Compatible with residual rust saves the difficult, cost-intensive fine rust removal - absorbs flash rust and prevents under-rusting; preferred by leading railroad companies over any rust converter
- Universally applicable simplifies storage and avoids mix-ups
Areas of application of Brantho-Korrux "nitrofest":
- Corrosion protection on iron and steel structures in land, urban, industrial and marine atmospheres
- For new and overhaul coatings
- As an active anti-corrosion primer for top coats based on alkyd, acrylic, PVC, plyester, cyclo rubber, bitumen, PU, etc.
- Corrosion protection on vehicles, machines, vehicle components, transport racks, railings, beams, pipes, cladding, gates, etc.
- As a primer and filler at the same time for object coatings or parts production
Special colors: RAL 6031 bronze green, RAL 8027 leather brown, RAL 9021 tar grey:
These are components of the 3-color spot camouflage paint FTA, which the Bundeswehr uses on combat vehicles and tactical vehicles. The paints are often also referred to as nato paint, camouflage paint, military paint and military paint.
Note: These three colors are dull matt. As they are offered for the civilian market, they are not infrared reflective!

Information on the best-before date:
- The best-before date on the paint cans indicates the minimum shelf life guaranteed by Branth for originally sealed cans when stored in a cool (10-20°C) and dry place.
- The best-before date is NOT an expiration date!
- Under the conditions described, the paint can generally be used for a further 5 years without complaint.
- The date given should help you to use up older cans from your paint shelf first.
- As long as the paint can be stirred perfectly and is homogeneous, it can be used without any problems.
Brantho-Korrux is also available in larger quantities within 2 days, regardless of the quantity currently available.
